Today's card is the last of my stampin' club cards. I already had a design in mind and then I saw Tiffany's card. I loved the clean design and how simple it was to put together. I swapped the butterfly for a flower and changed the sentiment stamp, and colors, but other than that, it's pretty much a CASE. This is also a great card for using up scraps and I'm sure I will be using this layout a lot!
My site is named after my Black Lab, Shadow. Shadow received his name by being my constant shadow including while I am crafting. The running joke in my family was that due to the whole 'Labs shed A LOT', everything I created had a signature 'Shadow' hair hidden somewhere... While Shadow is no longer with us, I am lovingly reminded of him every time a random hair shows up in my craft room. Like our loved ones, Lab hair never really leaves us and that is a pretty comforting thought!

What a wonderful card. I love it too. Did you punch those shapes out and then back them with paper?
ReplyDeleteOh YES! LOVE it Margaret! Great design and a fabulous card!

That was a real optical illusion for me. I thought you'd corner punched on the actual punch and then the DP's were showing through. What a cool design that it tricks your eye like that. I love your CASEd card! The flower is perfect. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job on this one. Love the CAS look of it and yet it has such a great layout and design. I really like the flower.
ReplyDeleteI really like the rounded corners on the square punches, fun look. Over all a versatile, easy card to use for so many occasions, thanks for sharing your CAS CASE =)
ReplyDeleteReally, really pretty! :)
