Scrapbook Wednesday- New Toys

Welcome! I hope your new year is off to a wonderful start!  My January has been a little sluggish as far as creativity goes.  There were so many things I needed to do and craft time was put on the back burner.  As a result, my first attempt of scrapbooking this year was not exactly what I had pictured in my mind.  I was excited however to have the chance to play with some new toys.

The cork flowers and twine are a sneak peek at some Sale-a-bration goodies, and the tag punch is a new item from the Celebrate the Everyday occasions catalog.  If you would like to check out the catalog, I have a link on the side of my blog.

I really like my new goodies, but should have planned out my flower placement a little better before sticking them on my page...  But, I now have another page completed and I'm sure my daughter isn't going to be too upset that it's not perfect.  I'm really trying to focus on the simple aspects of things this year and a finished imperfect page is better than photos in a box!

I hope you have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Page Recipe: paper-Epic Day DSP, crisp cantalope, summer starfruit, Ink-crisp cantalope, pistachio pudding, Accessories-sweet sorbet accessory pack (twine & cork), angled tag punch topper

  2. I like the classy/ clean lines of the page. My mom always said to put things you make and don't like in the closet for a month, its almost always true that you will love them when you take them out. It's totally true! :)

  3. You are on a roll, good for you ! I've been eyeing the tag punches myself and the way you used them on your page is making it harder to resist getting them ;)
