Hello! I am so glad you stopped by today! I have really been trying to get some scrapbook pages completed lately and am happy to say I have two more to share with you today! If you read the post title, you will know that this uses my retired and older stash of supplies, hence the flashback...
The pictures are a bit of a flashback too. These were from several years ago and it amazes me how much the girls have changed! Now neither one of them ride the kiddy rides and would rather spend most of their visits at the water park instead of visiting Santa!
I used some older Page Maps sketches for my two page layout. I 'm trying to use a lot more of my older DSP since I have so much, and I dug out the retired brights DSP pack for these pages. There's still a lot left, but it's a little less than before :)
I hope you are inspired to take a look at your older neglected supplies (and photos), pull them out, and use them! Have a wonderful weekend and may all your days be crafty!
Page Recipe: Paper-daffodil delight, real red, whisper white, Brights DSP (ret), Gingham Garden DSP, Stamp-Just Journaling, Ink-crumb cake, basic black, Punches-full heart, butterfly, scallop border, bitty butterfly, spiral border, Accessories-circle framelits, candy dots, paper piercing kit, real red stitched grosgrain ribbon
They're so bold and vivid - full of fun and life, the perfect setting for the photos.

OH I 'm in love! I remember that you inspired me (last year, the one before?) around this time to get my scrapbooking done, you always jumped in and DID what I always said I WOULD do, LOL!! THese are great! SO much color and love the design! Holiday World looks like a place I need to be :)
ReplyDeleteI have to share with you my friend, I thought of you the other day! I was in the kitchen and found a little white doggie hair on the counter from our Jack Russell - he's been shedding BAD lately and I thought what on earth, on the counter? My dh was like 'counter, it's everywhere!" oops! LOL! I thought wait, Margaret said that about her lab ..... LOL!!! Isn't it funny how our minds work!
Blessings to you and have a great weekend!! :)
I meant to add (see I start rambling and can't collect a thought!) that one of my favorite things about your page is the handwritten note off to the side!! I ADORE that in spages and really think the legacy you leave with the pages will mean the world to your girls in the future - now just what is written but that it was written by YOU! <3
ReplyDeleteGreat pages and they look like they're having so much fun! I always enjoy looking at your scrap book pages because I just wouldn't have an idea how to make one and yours are always just perfect.

Awe, adorable pages ! I'm sure working on these fun, brightly colored pages brought back lots of memories, I love all the little butterfly punches.
ReplyDeleteThis is super! I really like all the elements you added and that round photo!!
