So, are you tired of the birthday album yet? Well, if the answer is yes, you may want to come back another day! Tee! Hee! I am slowly, but steadily getting this baby completed! Plus, I just got a new orange envelope from Shutterfly, so I have some new inspiration to work with! I promise next week will feature something different!!
Not a lot to explain on this page. I used the labels framelit, which I love! I also added a cricut cut title and some taffeta ribbon. Pretty simple!
Page Recipe: whisper white and basic black cardstock, Apothecary Art stamp set, black stazon and markers, whisper white taffeta ribbon, Framelits Labels Collection, dp from stash
My site is named after my Black Lab, Shadow. Shadow received his name by being my constant shadow including while I am crafting. The running joke in my family was that due to the whole 'Labs shed A LOT', everything I created had a signature 'Shadow' hair hidden somewhere... While Shadow is no longer with us, I am lovingly reminded of him every time a random hair shows up in my craft room. Like our loved ones, Lab hair never really leaves us and that is a pretty comforting thought!
Awww, bestie pages are the best!!! The large letters look wonderful next to the picture and your journaling spot is perfect. That is luscious dp paper Margaret. Only the best and classiest for BFF's, right?! :D
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday.....it found us again..lol.
Hugs to you,
Lisa xx
Nope not tired of the birthday layouts yet. This looks great with all the black and grey papers with the picture.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I will ever get tired of the album, this is such a wonderful page and love how you did the letters down the side and the die at the bottom and of course the star of the page, the picture, sweet.
ReplyDeleteLove your page Margaret and you've persuaded me to buy a Cricut. My hubby thanks you. ;) I really like the layout and I'm curious if you used a LO sketch or if this is totally unscripted. It's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHope you have an awesome week & I can't wait for you to go to Disney World!!
