Happy Easter (a little late!)

Well, I had intentions of posting this on Easter, but life had other plans for me! I had some last minute errands and preparations that needed to be done since DH had a scheduled out patient surgery on Monday.  We did manage to have a wonderful Easter with our family and had lots of yummy food, an Easter egg hunt, and even a campfire since it was a little chilly as the sun started to go down.

I used up some left over scallop strips from a card I made earlier.  I colored these images over a month ago and thought I better do something with them too. A very easy card to put together and I ended up making enough for my whole family who were pleasantly surprised to receive an Easter card.  I don't usually make them for everyone.

Needless to say, my crazy week has resulted in the lack of a Scrapbook Monday post, but I am going to a crop on Saturday and am looking forward to getting a lot done! Wish me luck!!

Card Recipe:  Cardstock-whisper white, melon mambo, tempting turquoise, daffodil delight, certainly celery, Ink- black stazon, markers, Stamp Set-Festive Four, Punch-scallop border, Extras-dazzling details, crystal effects

Are there some Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs in there? Lol! I hope things calm down for you soon...I can relate to the craziness lately. Hope your day was great ! Hugs! :)

Hope the weekend is a bit slower paced for you. Raining like a flood here. Great day for a duck and sitting inside and watching movies. :)

  7. When doesn't life get crazy at one time or another, don't worry about posting we can wait. I love the idea of having a day for a scrapbook page, maybe I should think about trying that.
