Another challenge card! This is for the sketch challenge at Clean and Simple Stamping. I love the sketch, but seemed to have a hard time getting it to come together... I finally decided on an image and then it went a little better (I'm thinking lack of mojo today...) Stampin' Up supplies used were Warm Words (sentiment), brilliant blue (ret.), real red, and very vanilla card stock. The DSP is from Merry Moments (also retired). It is actually Christmas paper, but it reminded me of a man's handkerchief. The main image is stamped with black Stazon and the sentiment is brilliant blue ink. The image is colored with copics.
My site is named after my Black Lab, Shadow. Shadow received his name by being my constant shadow including while I am crafting. The running joke in my family was that due to the whole 'Labs shed A LOT', everything I created had a signature 'Shadow' hair hidden somewhere... While Shadow is no longer with us, I am lovingly reminded of him every time a random hair shows up in my craft room. Like our loved ones, Lab hair never really leaves us and that is a pretty comforting thought!

this is a great cas card margaret-I have trouble with those ones myself-it requires os much thinking-but I love what you have created.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about the lily image-I bought it from "the rubber cafe" and it actually is a tiger lily.
I made it a stargazer-also using it for wedding invitations for a young couple from our church
It's fabulous!!! Love that DP too. So pretty and I do love the CAS cards.
