Card Recipe: Cardstock-old olive, whisper white, bashful blue, Jr. Varsity DSP, Ink- bashful blue, Stamp Sets- Riveting and Birthday Wish (both ret), Accessories-corner, scallop circle, and 1 3/8 circle punch, whisper white 1/4" grosgrain ribbon
My site is named after my Black Lab, Shadow. Shadow received his name by being my constant shadow including while I am crafting. The running joke in my family was that due to the whole 'Labs shed A LOT', everything I created had a signature 'Shadow' hair hidden somewhere... While Shadow is no longer with us, I am lovingly reminded of him every time a random hair shows up in my craft room. Like our loved ones, Lab hair never really leaves us and that is a pretty comforting thought!

Jr Varsity cards
OK, quiz time...Who remembers the year of the DSP Jr Varsity? That's right, it's from the 2008 catalog! Well, in an effort to use up some of my stash, I was digging through a container of retired paper and found Jr. Varsity! I have really got to start using up my DSP!! So, today's post is a couple of cards I made using the very retired, JV!

Oh, I remember that paper! I didn't buy it and it's probably a good thing cause I would still be hoarding it like you. Your cards came out great. Keep using that DSP.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gate fold card it reminds me that I haven't done one of those in ages and maybe I need to.
ReplyDeleteHow do you "sort" all your papers that are DSP? I've seen people use crates with the solids and in colors in labeled folders, but the DSP? I made the mistake years ago of "lumping" all my paper together, not knowing that I would have to account for my supplies used. OOPS. Just curious how you keep track of them. You know me, organize, organize....blah, blah, blah. :D
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS CARD! fyi...
I do, I do! I had just gotten into stamping and missed a lot of the "old" SU items but managed to score a bunch later on down the road. This is just fabulous! I love the design - so fun and fresh looking! Great style you've got! TFS!
ReplyDeleteCute card!!!
