Hello! I am so happy you stopped in to visit today! I have a super simple birthday card to share with you today! This also happens to be one of the cards that my stamp club is making. While we don't always do really basic cards, I like to share this kind of design for quick cardmaking. I found this fabulous layout here.
What makes this card super quick is using the circle framelits for the holes. I randomly placed the framelits on the white cardstock piece and ran the whole thing through the big shot. All the holes in one run! I think the hardest part may have been picking the paper scraps to place behind the holes...
Since I was already prepping several cards for my club, I made some extras for my stash of birthday cards too.
Do you even know how excited I was to open my email and find SOOO many messages from you??? LOL...so excited! Thank you so much for all the sweet encouragement you left me and I'm very pleased to see such a gorgeous card. The card is great fun and I think you've done a superb job in selecting choreographing papers. I think the scripted and polka dots looks incredible together!
ReplyDeleteGreat hearing from you SIB!!

Great simple card, and sometimes that is a perfect thing. Love the papers you used with it too. Again thanks for visiting my blog and for all the sweet comments.

Ahhhhhh, so the circles are not die cut and adhered to the top of the card. Cool !
