My site is named after my Black Lab, Shadow. Shadow received his name by being my constant shadow including while I am crafting. The running joke in my family was that due to the whole 'Labs shed A LOT', everything I created had a signature 'Shadow' hair hidden somewhere... While Shadow is no longer with us, I am lovingly reminded of him every time a random hair shows up in my craft room. Like our loved ones, Lab hair never really leaves us and that is a pretty comforting thought!

Oh, Baby...
Last month, our 'crafty sistahs' group had a card swap with a baby theme. This is my card. I found the tutorial on Split Coast over a year ago and hadn't used it again since, so I'm sorry whoever you are... I'd give you credit if I could... When I made the original one, I made a template out of cardstock. This way I don't have to measure each time I make a card. I used so saffron for the base & a retired DSP for the trim. The 'buttons' are brads and I used the 1 3/4 circle punch for the neck and leg openings. The trim on the legs was created by using the scallop circle after punching the opening circle. The arm trim was scalloped with the scallop border punch.
