If you have seen my last two posts, you are already aware that I organized a Crop night for our daycare and preschool. While I had a wonderful time and taught two projects, I accomplished next to nothing of my own! I had colored some images about a month ago and brought them along with the hopes of getting them turned into Christmas cards by the end of the night. I actually finished about 5 of them... But I did enjoy checking out what everyone else was making and visiting with friends.
Here is a picture of the only project I worked on!
Card Recipe:Cardstock- whisper white, bashful blue, DP from stash, Ink- Stazon black, Early Espresso & Blush Blossom markers, copics, Stamp- Non SU, Accessories-dazzling details, snow burst folder, clear trim tinsel (ret.)
My site is named after my Black Lab, Shadow. Shadow received his name by being my constant shadow including while I am crafting. The running joke in my family was that due to the whole 'Labs shed A LOT', everything I created had a signature 'Shadow' hair hidden somewhere... While Shadow is no longer with us, I am lovingly reminded of him every time a random hair shows up in my craft room. Like our loved ones, Lab hair never really leaves us and that is a pretty comforting thought!
Sounds like you had a wonderful time though. Your card is fabuloso!! :) I'm loving that snow burst folder. Got a sneak peek at the holiday mini....eeeek...so many wonderful goodies. :)

Margaret, I have to laugh because every crop I have ever attended has been unproductive for me. I spend too mch time talking and not enough time creating. Lol! Your card is darling! Love that tinsel trim! Happy Thanksgiving! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this card! Your coloring looks great and the background is perfect with the image, Isn't that always the way to...you plan the event and get nothing accomplished! LOL The card you did get done looks great though!
