Well, hello! Long time, no post!! Our 'back to school' chaos is finally turning back into a routine and I've managed to have a Saturday where I don't have a million things to do (other than cleaning my house, which doesn't count!). I always think that things won't change much when the DDs and I head back to school and then that first week happens and I'm a zombie by 5 pm, and sound asleep by 10 pm. It really makes me appreciate the time that I have during the summer to get everything done!
Today, I have an anniversary card to share with you, and once again I'm making an effort to use up some of my older supplies and ink up some forgotten stamps. In this case, the stamp had never seen ink even though it's not technically 'new'... Please tell me I'm not the only one who has this happen!
I really love the effect of the triple stamping on this pretty flower! It gives it some depth without being heavy and bulky. And the background dsp? Yeah...that is super old! Anyone remember Raspberry Tart? Not only is the paper long retired, but most of the colors in it are as well!
It felt great to use quite a bit of my older supplies and I think it turned out beautifully! Now I just need to get to the post office to buy more stamps so I can actually mail some of those handmade cards!
I've been playing a bit with some older Christmas dsp scraps and hope to have something finished to share by next weekend. Wish me luck!! Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hey Margaret! Glad to see you here....and with a stunning card too! I don't remember ever seeing that stamp but it's so pretty. I still have the sentiment set though and love it too. Such a beautiful card!
