I used some retired chocolate chip ribbon, some non-su buttons, linen thread, and Autumn Traditions DSP (ret). I used sticky strip to ensure that everything stayed where I wanted it!
Wondering about the unusual blog name for a paper crafter? My site is named after my Black Lab, Shadow. Shadow received his name by being my constant shadow including while I am crafting. The running joke in my family is that due to the whole 'Labs shed A LOT', everything I create has a signature 'Shadow' hair hidden somewhere... I hope you enjoy my creations and please don't hunt for the tiny black hairs :)

Fall Gifts
I love giving hand made gifts! There is something so fun about shopping for things to alter or dress up and then putting your very own special touches on them before giving them away. I found some fall theme scented candles at our local dollar store and thought they would make nice little gifts for my club members.

How pretty, I seem to have the same condition as you, a "need" to purchase cute little things to pretty up, could do with a few more hours to do this though! Lol!

Can I be in the club????? Sounds like you are just the hostest/demo with the mostest. I'm a nut about candles and these are great. Your gang will be thrilled. :D

These are so pretty Margaret. Love the papers and the buttons.
ReplyDeleteI can't agree more, handmade (even if it is a jazzed up version of a plain store bought item) are the best !
